Crackle lines Dual (2) Voicing Hole Alto C Key / 2 Octave Chromatic Range Ceramic Ocarina - High temperature Kiln Treated good Hardness Endurability Out of a dozen or so that I own, this is my first two octave ocarina. While finger placement for higher notes is taking some getting used to, the ocarina itself plays with the same fingering as the standard high end 13 note clay instrument. The mellow pitch carries with it the beauty and calming sound of the ocarina (occasionally higher notes can be a bit shrill on "lower-quality" ocarinas) while allowing for plenty of non-breathy volume from this delightful instrument.For some reason, fingering for normal play on this instrument is a bit awkward compared to other ocarinas in the same key. Perhaps this is due to the extended body, but wrist muscles tend to tire more easily on this model than others. However, the extra five notes are more than worth the extra effort to play this two octave version. The seller, by the way, was FABULOUS.
