It's well tuned and small and the leather strap is very sturdy so I won't have to worry about it falling apart when I'm wearing it. As a tenor D, it's perfect for sitting outside in the park.I'm new to playing the ocarina, but this style is very easy to pick up. It's a 4- to 6-hole, with four on the top and two on the bottom. I can use all my flute, recorder and piano music with it. It has 13 different notes, so there are loads of free music for it on the web.
