See added comment, after this review., Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Shehnai, Deluxe OK, first off, if you know nothing about how to play this instrument, DO NOT ORDER THIS ITEM! It comes with the wrong reed, and you would not know this if you're new to it. It is supposed to have two sets of double reeds, making it a quadruple reed woodwind. This instrument came with a grass conical reed, a thin, hollow tube that must be carefully split by using the taper they do include. This gives you a double reed. Even then, it is the wrong reed for this instrument. I ordered the correct reeds and they will be fine once serious alterations are made to the body of this shehnai. First off, the tube to which the proper reed assembly gets attached is junk, plain and simple. The red string that is supposed to snug the tube into the body almost immediately started unwinding. On better quality instruments, a bit of wax is applied to help keep the string in place. The tube itself is garbage. A little pressure and it collapses.
