While a bit smaller in size than Link's Ocarina, the sound and clarity from this instrument is suprisingly accurate. I was playing the The Song of Time in little more than a half an hour, with the help of the included Song booklet. It is a well-made ocarina and a must for Zelda fans.

From my 9 year-old son (big Legend of Zelda fan): It is a thing out of a dream! I had been searching for one for over 3 weeks and I couldn't find one that was better for beginners. It plays like a dream and it is perfect for first-timers. I have had it for over two weeks and I can almost play all the songs in the included songbook, and there are some hard songs in it. I totally think this is good for ocarina players.

This Ocarina is excellent if you're just learning how to use one. I got this for Christmas last year, and it seemed alittle smaller then I hoped, but I was happy to get an Ocarina since I am a HUGE Zelda fan. If I start getting bored of this small 5-hole Ocarina, I might require the 9-hole or even the 12-hole Ocarinas. The Song book that comes with this product is small also, but it comes with a few of many Zelda Ocarina tunes, it also has Happy Birthday and songs that we use in every day life. If you want to get an Ocarina for beginner use like I did and a Zelda fan, I recommend this Ocarina! 4 stars, because of it's 5-hole Ocarina, In Zelda the replica has 7.
