This review is from: Model 668-9 F Major 9 finger holes Beginner Level Xiao Bamboo Flute Chinese Musical Instrument I was really excited when my flute arrived.I took it out and immediatly tried to play it...only one problem....Where is the blowhole? A chinese flute has 4 holes to hang decorative tassels,one blowhole,one membrane hole,and 6 finger holes.This flute has one extra hole one the side. Aside from that,when I play it,no sound comes out.I know it takes time,and you have to practice,but I think I should have gotten sound out of it by now. The next problem is that because I don't know where the blowhole is,I also don't know which end rests on the right side,and which one rests on the left....so if I play it one way,a deeper sound comes out,and if I play it the other way,a higher sound comes out. Can anyone help me? All in all,beautiful flute,great purchase,and it arrived faster than I expected it to. THANK YOU!
