My flute arrived today, replacing an Armstrong Heritage (French model, B foot) that I had to sell years ago in tough times. This is not the quality of the Armstrong, but given that the Armstrong cost $745 in 1968, I did not expect this to be. That said, it is a very good intermediate level instrument. The pads appear to be of very good quality and are seated perfectly. It's been several years since I have played, but I was (despite the terrible lack of conditioning for my lip) able to play in three registers easily. The keys are very responsive with virtually no resistance, yet return to position promptly.

I definitely recommend this flute for the beginning to intermediate player. When I am back in shape and ready for a concert-quality flute again, I'll definitely take time to see what Cecilio has to offer.
