While this peice may feel bulky it tremendously helped me at least with stability. I do have long fingers but as a result with this peice my finger positions are better, notes cleaner, and way more comfortable. As you can see from the title. This Bo Pep is for large hands that increase personally my technique. I play the flute a lot, and some days it can be for 6 hours. What I noticed on those days, is that my left index finger would be sore, tired, hurt, stiff...etc. So I needed something to change that. This product I believe did that. I'm quite happy with it for the price. It is MUCH more pleasant to play now for that amount of time. Now, if you have bigger hands. The chances are you have to crunch your left index finger; it doesn't feel natural.
