This is just like the claranet aI had when I was in school. Nice tone right out of the box even though I hadn't played in over forty years. I'm just an eager amateur, but play a lot (swing jazz). I have one home in Europe and one in Florida and got tired of bringing my clarinet back and forth. My "main" clarinet is a Buffet and stays in Europe. So I bought one to use in Florida, but wouldn't use that much money on it.
