However, what we wanted it for is a spare flute for my daughter to use while marching instead of using her good flute.The metals used in this flute are very durable, and not paper thin like some other cheaper models for sale elsewhere. It holds it's tune very well, even in colder weather, and has a pleasant mellow tone. The only problems we've had are some of the connections between the keys have bent a few times, but that's always been a very inexpensive fix. The flute comes with a very nice case, comparable to what you'd expect with a more expensive flute. For someone in marching band this works very well. It would also be perfectly suitable for a beginners flute, or a practice flute to have at home. |
