It may not sound the best but it doesn't sound too horrible compared to some others I've heard.The range is about and octave +6 (Mine specifically is B to E, I'm not sure if it varies between ocarinas). It's a simple instrument to pick up and play, and gives a rather pleasant sound. Also, it's plastic, so it's extremely durable. The price was very reasonable, and came a day earlier than the shipping ETA (14th, estimated 15th-18th). The only problem is the instructions are written in Japanese, but they are simple and easy to understand. There are bound to be more than enough tutorials on the internet for those who want more information.
