This flute isn't going to be the one you rely on for that really big professional concert. But this flute packs quite a bit of punch at the modest price that it is sold for. The tone is a little mellow considering that it isn't really made of the usual materials of sterling silver, but it plays in tune at all registers, provided you are careful with how you play it. The instrument is fairly nimble to play, and unless you are trying to go professional, should be enough to teach you a few new tricks and techniques for the flute. If you are wondering if the flute is an interesting instrument for your to play, then I recommend trying this one out at the very least before you sink some serious money for a serious flute.Serious players should look elsewhere, but for the rest of us, this one is good enough. |
