Out of the two whistles I own, I much prefer this one. I plan on purchasing the Clarke whistle in the key of D.I also highly recommend the Clarke Tin Whistle handbook by Bill Ochs. It is great for beginners or musicians that are adding another instrument to their hobby list. The mouthpiece didn't seem to be constructed very well and looked like it was made out of cheap composite wood. Other than that the whistle sounds great. As a beginner just learning how to play, I have been very satisfied with it.
